It appears like Meltdown System in Eschatology will be released next week or the week after but before it is released please rename it. The title is horrible and misleading.

I've posted this before but in a different section:

1. Eschatology leads someone to think that it deals with the theological study of the "End of days" or "End of the World" or "Apocalypse"
2. Meltdown System gives the reader the idea that the novel is about a possible Nuclear Meltdown leading to the End of the World
3. Eschatology sounds similar to Scatology [Study of Excrement or sh*t ](not exact but similar with a "Ske vs Ska" sound. Feel free to hear it yourself.

4. If you read the wordy synopsis you can tell that the translator is misusing 'eschatology' by reading these sentences:
   A. One day, our hero, Chu Han, unconsciously came back ten years before the eschatology came.
   B. He met a group of people on the petrol station, one of which is included in the top 20 of the eschatology, Chen Shaoye, reknowned for his excellent sniping abilities.

These almost certainly should be translated similar to this:
A. One day an unconscious Chu Han, our hero, came back ten years before the arrival of the Apocalypse.

B. He met a group of people at the petrol station, one of which was Chen Shaoye who would be listed in the top 20 of the Apocalypse. Chen Shaoye would become renowned for his excellent sniping abilities.

I rephrased the sentences but you get the point. The tense was also changed since Chen Shaoye would not be listed in the top 20 until the Apocalypse arrives

Leylin_Farlier I would rather have this discussion before 50+ chapters come out in a week or so. If you read the synopsis you can tell that the translation has some defects that should be corrected. Eschatology has a specific meaning in English. Trying to make "Eschatology" mean something different is foolish.

Furthermore the Chinese characters for "Eschatology" also mean:
末世 = eschatology (bing), end world(systranet), end of the world(google translate)

The English definition of "Eschatology" is:
1:a branch of theology concerned with the final events in the history of the world or of humankind
2 :a belief concerning death, the end of the world, or the ultimate destiny of humankind; specifically :any of various Christian doctrines concerning the Second Coming, the resurrection of the dead, or the Last Judgment

The English definition of "Theology"
1: the study of religious faith, practice, and experience; especially :the study of God and of God's relation to the world

Furthermore if you read the top post you can see where the translator appears to be misusing Eschatology in a couple of sentences. This suggests that the issue may be a translation mistake overall.

This post is not an attempt to criticize the translator but it is meant to bring to the attention of @WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL a possible problem/embarrassment in the translation before the actual translation is released.

The fact of the matter is the Synopsis is really rough and I hope it is not an indication of what to expect from the translation quality.

Using the word Eschatology might be intentional, perhaps the MC is a priest that goes around running over zombies for points in his theological studies. It seems far fetched but it is fiction so you never know. If that is a case this topic can be easily addressed by the translator.

I've also seen 末世大回炉 (The actual Chinese novel name)translated as Doomsday Big Fortune

Eschatology means. :/ That's why I picked other novels to like.

What about "Meltdown System in the Apocalypse" the only reason I suggest this is because the System starts on Doomsday but continues so doomsday might not be appropriate.

Apocalypse definition: an event involving destruction or damage on an awesome or catastrophic scale.
It seems tailor made for this situation.

I'm really not that picky as long as the novel gets rid of "Eschatology". My suggestion is to get rid of that word altogether, unless for some drastic reason the MC becomes a priest!

The story is interesting and I will keep reading it. I'll also keep posting grammar and spelling errors as I see them. Nothing personal just want the story to be the best possible. Especially for the next reader..........or just me when I re-read it :)
