  • GLOBAL DISCUSSION!!! FIRST TOPIC: NAME YOUR PRICE FOR (...)

Azuminyan This is heavily dependent upon someone loving themselves, or even thinking that they are worth loving.

My assumption is that for this to happen a person needs to have experienced love at a very young age or to a profound degree.

And if that is the case, they might give gifts as symbols of love and remembrance to others, but they won’t try to “buy” love.

good topic! You’ve got me thinking and trying to clarify my own thoughts on this.

NescienceEscape And if that is the case, they might give gifts as symbols of love and remembrance to others, but they won’t try to “buy” love.

That's what I meant by buying love. But in a simplistic term it's hard to buy love just by offering money whenever u feel like.

All sort of materialistic gifts and efforts can be considered as buying. That's why I said you can buy love lol. In a broader and deep lvl.

Okay!! Next question!! Why does the thought of "buying" love tends to get quite a load of criticism??

KingBiBiK Gifts should not usually be considered buying, not as I was using the term.

Buying is a kind of fixed transaction.

Gifts are about recognition of something already there - nothing is required in exchange.

Not understanding this might be a cause of some confusion.

It is quite simple to buy love. Cash, however, is not an acceptable currency in such transactions.

Cosnic Not just it messes up with the 5senses, it too messes with your heart and mentality

Love can't be bought outright but it can be earned. And little by little, it makes it grow.

In my opinion you can do what ever to "love". You can give it, get it, ignore it even. The question is do you have the courage to take the consequences of the aftermath and choices you did about it.

                Azuminyan

Because people are scared of being shunned by society.

                Or they want societies approval.

Want to show that they were worthy of that 'love'

                  Why we can't buy love?
                  It's just simple,
because love is not a material thing but a feeling.
You can buy the person but you can't force them to love you.
                  Because feelings can't be controlled.

Love is like a secret agent and you are the target.
It will hit you when you least expected it.
                  You can't dodge nor escape.

                  =====================

Why does the thought of "buying" love tends to get quite a load of criticism??

Because love is not that simple where when you have the money you can buy it directly.

Ahhahaha. watever. It's giving me a headache thinking about love 🤦‍♀️

                    1st question:
                    Cover your ears kids

You can pay people for the act of "making love".
If we take that phrase literally you're paying someone to create love with you, you're "buying love".
