Maybe I wasn't clear earlier
1. It has a steady translation and currently is updated every 2.9 days.
2. Let's assume Qidian decides to cease and desist the current translator. This would create even more negative publicity for Qidian. Why would Qidian choose to do so?
3. Even if Qidian decided to C&D. How long would it take for them to get a translator? Based on Jiang Ye and Lord Xue Ying it would take at least 3 months for them to get a translator and start stockpiling translations.
4. Next they would add the novel to the voting list. It would probably take another 4-6 weeks for it to reach the top spot in voting.
5. Then they would most likely start translating from the beginning. Let's say Qidian translator decides to do 10 chapters per week which is aggressive but possible. That means it would take at least 10 months in total before they would catch up to the current translation.
6. In that same time span, the existing translator would have released ~120 more chapters.
7. In addition, there is no any guarantee about the Translation/editing quality. Many Qidian novels suffer from very sloppy editing.
Do you really want to wait 10 months just to get to where the novel currently stands?
