There has been a bug since a week in the app ever since I updated it to the 2.1.7 version. The brightness keeps randomly going max whenever I use the app like opening chapter, opening comments, setting it to auto, closing chapter etc. It is impossible to use the app with the constant change of brightness hurting my eyes. My phone is Levnevo P2 with Android v7.0. This problem only began after updating to the 2.1.7 version of the app. Please fix.

Secondly ever since updating the app the font size option has also been reduced from the previous 8-24 to the current 12-20. 20 is too small for me since even 24 was barely passable. Ideally I'd like 28. So why did you reduce the options? I don't think anyone can read below 14/16. I'd like it if you can do it 14-28/16-28 or 20-28/16-24 if you want to keep the gap between each successive change to 2 which I think what you have tried to do with the new update. Of course you can also go back to the previous gap of 4 and do 12-28.

dapenggaofei please do so. Specially the brightness thing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app which didn't fix it. Nowadays I can only use the online website on chrome to read the novels. So please fix the brightness thing with the app.

      Saint of course I can also read it at 12. I was talking about reading comfortably without hurting the eyes. Bigger fonts are much better on the eyes. I spend hours everyday reading novels so if I kept reading such small text I'll be unable to read anything in due time.

              I just updated and there's no problem to me. Perhaps there are incomptibilities with your device. Try to uninstall and reinstall older versions.

                I have the same issue. Sometimes the brightness will stay at max when opening a novel and you have to double tap the auto brightness button to reset it

                  lvl yes exactly. Finally there is atleast someone else with the same problem. What phone and Android version are you using?

                      ChiefGamer Sorry for this, It will be fixed in next app release. Currently we suggest you to set it to follow system lightness in system settings or use the mobile site.

                          dapenggaofei I see. Please hurry with the next app update. When I set it to follow system brightness settings it remains on max brightness with no change otherwise I would have used it. And yes currently I am using the mobile site but I'd prefer the app much more.

                                dapenggaofei hello. I just updated the app v2.8.1. Was very excited thinking the issue is finally fixed. But it wasn't. It still has the exact same problem. Nothing changed. Actually something changed. In addition to previous problems the app feels slow and freezes or crashes sometimes now.

                                    ChiefGamer Feel sad about it. I meant to say that please update to the newest version v2.8.1 :cry: I consulted to our app developer just now, can you still enable to follow the system brightness, will it be OK ?
