I agree, I read it until 40ish chapters and I stopped there. I find it have too much "system" actually: cultivation, personal training through mind, personal training through shadow, Virtual World hacking, Training through virtual world, ... If you add schools, military and other world elements... It becomes really hard to follow exactly the protagonist.
Beside that, you can say that the "training" to become strong is not that well explained. It's like the author didn't want to spend time writing how he becomes strong.
Anyway, despite that, I still have it in my library. I might read it sometime when it will have many more chapters. The story might become better and the author might use very well all those "system". For example, "It's Not Easy to Be a Man After Travelling to the Future" does have a lot of "system" but the author introduced them when they where needed in the story without dumping too much information at the start.
