Isn't this the novel that the Princess Agent's drama is based on? Is it worth the read if you have already watched the drama?

edeal Is it worth the read if you have already watched the drama?

It's hard to tell if it is worth the read since the translation has not been released yet. Poor translation/editing can ruin any novel.

Note: I'm not saying that's going to happen, just you never know until it starts getting released :P

It has a rating of 8.7 but only 20 people have evaluated it.

It is the only work of the author and is complete at 293 chapters.

Hey does any one know any completed novels in this app ??

_justsimmy_ There aren't many novels that have been completely translated and available on webnovel but I believe I Shall Seal the Heavens is one of them.

checkm8 I'm not really doubting the translator and expect it to be at a descent quality, it's just that I don't feel like wasting time on reading the story if the drama already did a good job on covering everything,

I'm also wondering why qidian would go translate this as the the drama game out last year and did spectacularly well. I bet a lot of people know the entire plot already.

edeal The drama is quite different from the actual book. For instance, the book is about an agent reincarnating, while the drama uses amnesia.

Generally, drama adaptations are seldom faithful to the original.

edeal I have read part of the raw (using google translate because I'm impatient :P) and watch the drama, the story of the novel and the drama is quite different.
Normally, the drama didn't follow the original story, I personally waited for the translation of story to continue since it's interesting.

checkm8 Actually, those numbers are not accurate. In fact, most figures for books listed under the female section in Qidian are not accurate.

Princess Agent is a book from 潇湘书院 Xiao Xiang (http://www.xxsy.net/info/165098.html), and I think it's on Qidian due to a contract between both companies (not sure on the details). However, the only figure that is usually shared among websites is the monthly votes.

Just for reference, there are 560,000,000 views and 101,000 users added it to their reading list.

StarveCleric Xiao Xiang is one of the 14 platforms under China Literature.
