Hello. Newbie here. I'm Brazilian, so sorry for my english.

I have questions about publishing books. I would like to publish my book and am looking for opportunities in other languages.
I've known this site for a long time and that's why I'd like to try it out here.

My question is about writing. As I'm not a native English speaker and I don't understand enough to write everything in English, would it be bad to use a translation program to transcribe from Portuguese to English?

My fear is that native speakers will not understand, or there will be grammatical errors, conjugation errors, etc. As a result, the story can be flawed, or even meaningless and
soul.

For example, I read several things that have not yet been translated in Brazil, and that are in English using google translator, and it doesn't bother me. But I know people who are bothered by this , saying that the story gets "bad".

Please give me your opinion. Also, let me know if you are a native English speaker or belong to another source language, to help me assess this situation.

Nickerson_Oliveira I'm a native English speaker who also speaks Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. I'd say that if you book has the same quality of your post, you should be fine. Translating programs online have their limits, though. But when that is the case, you can jump in with your own edits, or, if possible, have someone you know who is more qualified to ensure that it all makes sense and works fine.
I wish you good luck on your writing journey!
