So I'm confused about something and I kinda need answers lol. So, I will see new books that release like 10-40 chapters and they'll have a decent amount of collections ranging from 30 to 200. Some of these books have only been out for a week and they'll have like 50 collections with only 10 or 20 chapters out. But I've been writing for like 2 weeks now with 26 chapters overall. I do daily uploads, try my best with content and synopsis, and I also have a decent cover, yet I only have 12 collections. So I just wanted to know if I'm missing something as to why some books gain such a quick reader base in the blink of an eye while a few others struggle. I don't know if it's that the majority thinks my content is boring or something along those lines which is why I receive such few collections but I just wanted an answer to this cause I'm lost x. x.

    Sometimes readers don't choose new books that have fewer chapters or if the author is popular they give them a shot. Trust me, don't follow anyone's collection or you will feel demotivated. Write your book until you reach chapter 80, especially if you are writing on the male lead.

    Prince_nonchalant most of them are wpc entries so can easily enter potential startled panel recommendations as getting wpc winning badge increases contract chance rest of them doing reviews and comments swap while other rest are making alt accounts to vote for themselves to increase power rating of their work .
