In the already saturated VRMMO genre, this seemed like a good idea. Instead of getting back at a guild for betraying, stopping AI from taking over is a more novel concept and has good potential if done properly.
What I didn't like:
a) It would be better if it is not based on the real world. It would prevent bias and people would immerse themselves better.
b) The prose didn't flow smoothly. Need a little bit of work. A reader should not think about skipping a paragraph coz reading it gets a little bit difficult. We already spend like 2-3 hours writing a chapter and most readers read it in like 10 minutes. So, make them at least spend 10 minutes on the chapter to make it worth the 3 hours you spend there.
Will I read it?
The concept idea is good. If you do it properly, sure, why not?
