for most of the books that i read, i can't see the author notes. and they are already included in my library. fix this please.
Authore note
Not all authors would've put an Author's Notes in every chapter, I believe.
yes, but in the book' It's not easy to be a man' they provide author note. and i am unable to see it. the rest, i think, shows the note now. but this one doesn't though there is one
As far as I can tell, Ryuxenji hasn't put her 'Translator Thoughts' at the end of every chapter. Which chapter's Translator's Thoughts are you unable to see? I've used chapter 167 (because I know that that has a translator's thoughts section) and I can see it. Can you see if chapter 167's Translator's Thoughts work for you?
Neverfire7
yes i can see that one. but i'm having problems with the recent chapters. none of them, since some do have them, i can see. for example chapter 227 etc.
Unruly_Phoenix How can you be so sure that she included a Translator's Thoughts in that chapter though? I've checked chapter 227, but no Translator's Thoughts seem to be there, however, I can see the Translator's Thoughts on chapter 225
Neverfire7 He/she isn't talking about translator thoughts, I think. They are probably talking about footnotes, probably, since they have recently been asking questions in the comment section which have already been answered in the footnotes. Could be a browser issue, as such, since only web browsers format footnotes as pop-up boxes that might not show up for them.
@Unruly_Phoenix Please include more info, as in which platform you're reading on. If it's a web browser, include the name of the browser and the version number.
ryuxenji Allow me to facedesk first.
Right. Now that that's done, apologies @Unruly_Phoenix for my misunderstanding. I feel very stupid now.
I tried to look into this matter myself, using chapter 227:
- Safari Version 11.1 (13605.1.33.1.2) [Desktop] allowed me to see the footnotes in their popup form.
- Firefox Quantam 60.0.1 (64-bit) [Desktop & App] allowed me to see the footnotes in their popup form.
- Google Chrome Version 66.0.3359.181 (Official Build) (64-bit) [Desktop & App] allowed me to see the footnotes in their popup form.
- Webnovel Version 2.7.1 [App] allowed me to see the footnotes as notes at the end of the chapter.
These were all tested with adblockers disabled and without any ad-skipping scripts.
Neverfire7 Sorry, I don't understand. In chapter 227 of "It's not easy to be a man...", there is no author notes.
dapenggaofei Haha, yeah I also thought what you did. Don't worry, that's not what I'm talking about
I'm talking about these things:
In the app, however, they appear as [1] (as part of the text), and will appear at the end of the chapter as a foot note.

Neverfire7 I see, In PC/Mobile site, we implemented a popup form for easy reading. It's a bit complicated for app to implement it. I will take this issue to our app developers. Thanks for your help :) and thanks for your feedback @Unruly_Phoenix
dapenggaofei I think @Unruly_Phoenix's problem was that he couldn't see the pop-up at all.
Unruly_Phoenix Are you using the PC site? and can't see the pop-up for author notes? Would you please tell us the browser version? Thanks.
mine is firefox version 60.0.1 (64 bit). I just realized that i may have overlooked many info. So for further inquiry please feel free to ask more question :) i might be a bit late to answer them though.
i actually wanted to this reply a day ago but for some reason as soon as i clik the 'post reply' button they say have no authority to do so! i tried like, all day yesterday but the result was the same. was it a temporary bug or something?? please take note of this as others might suffer from this problem as well.
ps. i was even thinking of asking ryuxenji to do me a favor and inform you of this problem (i'm a crazy, loyal fan of his book n_n) but today i wanted to give it another try and thankfully it worked :)
