  • Question: Does using stones to unlock chapters slow down free releases?

So basic example: Say a novel you are reading has 200 chapters but the last 20 are locked behind the energy stone wall, you are at chapter 180, every day a new chapter is released (201, then 202, etc.) and an older chapter is unlocked for free (181, then 182, etc would be free to read now).

You have 21 energy stones, and it costs 7 stones to unlock a new older chapter, a new day has started and chapter 181 is released. (7 stones to unlock chapter 182 before it becomes free the next day).

Here's the question: If you were to use your stones to unlock the next three chapters (182, 183, and 184), then would the following day either:

A ) chapter 185 is unlocked for free for you to read, aka you can still progress at reading one chapter a day for free. ( no "set back" in reading pace)

OR

B ) Chapter 182 is unlocked for everyone to read for free and you must wait another 3 days for chapter 185 to unlock for free to continue forward without spending any stones. ("Set back" of three days for reading rate to resume at one free chapter a day)

    You need to wait 3 days for the chapters to catch up. Sadly the chapters do not unlock based off the last chapter you have paid for. Hopefully that made sense

I've gotten so absorbed into Release The Witch, read all free chapters in like 6 days, that i doubt i could go a day without reading it and its currently the only thing I read on here so i don't know what to do with the stones now.
