A tag for active and inactive novel would be good as well....
Maybe they could do it that way that after 20% of the people after 100 reviews say its inactive they mark it as inactive novel, so that not more and more people start reading it and end up unsatisfied....
That is basically the biggest reason stopping me from reading more originals...
I started reading ability wielders or something like that was it called, but there are no more updates it seems....
Nothing is worth than an unfinished story T.T (btw. that is wrong the worst thing is those people starting to write and then they publish around 20 chaps and stop then... because that novel would have cost u then already 1 or 2 hours or more depending how fast u read of your time....)

I think that we need 2 tags for completed novels: one for novels finished in china and one for completely translated novels.
The inactive tag is maybe not as necessary since you can check when the last chapter was released.
I would like to see harem tag much more than the inactive tag.

DeJeL I know but I don't like harems so I would really like it if I take a look at the novel and there is already a tag for it so I know it's not a novel for me. Right now I go to novelupdates to check the tags but it's not that convenient. You can do the same for completely translated novels.
Also there apparenly is a tagfor completely translated novels, the link is in another thread about complete tag

Morgana_lefay Agree, completed novel in chinese or original language version and tag for translate one

        Morgana_lefay
        how would you check that?
i tried it just now and noticed the only place where i found a date was this comment is 6 months old...
That is a little bit complicated and i think finding a novel u want to read should be as easy as possible, so readers don't have such a hard time. If it is marked as inactive u wouldn't even have to click on it... i personally would loose interest looking for not that well known works if i have to do the job of a detective to find out if that novel is still worked on by the author or not....
i think readers will get reluctant to even click on novels if they two times in a row click on it and notice after a lot of research that it was dropped. I personally wouldn't try a third at that point...
At least we need a place at the front page of every novel where is written when the last chapter was published and i don't think that exists right now??? if i am wrong i am sorry ;)
btw. writing next to every chapter the publishing day and time or anything like that would allow the reader to see if the author really loads chapters up as regularly as he says..
but maybe this will come after they introduce the stats...

SuperSilentSin I know this is not really what you mean, but it's the closest that @WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL has, if you go to the bottom of the PC sight's home page (I use PC, so I know not if other platforms have this too) and look, it shows what the latest updates, albeit not for specific books, just the most recently updated (separates translated from original).;,;.
          Hope that helps a little.;,;.

SuperSilentSin at least on PC, when you click on a novel to get to that novel page (not in the library since taht brings you to the latest chapter you reads, I think), there are 2 tabs: "about" - where you can read summary and comments and then "table of content". If you click on that, right underneath it says "latest release" and it has the chapter number, title and when that chapter was released.
hope what I wrote makes sense :)

Morgana_lefay I only see that if I go to the table of contents, Adding such will help them know where to look, unless you can find it another place'?'
