So I update daily but I’m wondering if that’s efficient. Do I update less when I gain more readers? Or should I just do it now to reduce stress?

Readerfanatic I have no answer to that question but what I do is that - I do a weekly update, at the time (based on the statistics that tells me where I got most reads) Does it help gaining more readers or whatnot? Seems the same to me. Did you gain more readers by doing daily updates?
Readerfanatic Depends on your goal. If you're just hoping to gain more readers then it will grow eventually with perseverance and consistency. If you're hoping to get contracted and make a living through it then you have to push through it every single day with a minimum of 1500 words each chap or two 1000-word chaps. Best that you start early so that when you're contracted, you're already used to it. However, if it's stressing you out, I suggest you take it slow for now and stockpile. That's about it. I hope it answers your question.

Sereinchoo In my opinion, yes. It will make me feel like I've finally been acknowledged. And if I were to be more honest, receiving a small amount from it doesn't sound bad either. I agree it can get stressful and I did feel stressed at the beginning but now that I've gotten the hang of it, it's actually quite enjoyable. Seeing the collection rise everyday and stuff. It's kinda motivating in some way.
