Rex was turned speechless by Gems shamelessness, he pondered for a minute and decided that if she could not be the heroine that everyone needed that he would just have to search far and wide for the true heroine or hero that could actually make a difference, guiding them from the shadows as well as from close by as a member of their hero party, until slowly indoctrinating them of their heavy responsibility of killing and replacing the incompetent King and the Royal Family that allowed and facilitated the downfall of the country. However, that will have to wait...

DazzlingGem I was wrong. You are not only shameless but also heartless, your heart has become irreversibly twisted and ignorant of the struggles this kingdom is facing. Everyday monsters invade our kingdom and kill innocent villagers and eradicate entire villages and towns, plagues and curses are let loose onto the populace from grotesque demons, cultists and otherworldly beings, the poor starve fighting each other viciously over a moldy piece of bread as the nobles and Royal Family laugh and eat their fill at exquisite banquets watching from the sidelines with an indifference smile.
The future is bleak and uncertain, however, I see you are still trapped in the present feigning ignorance as one born with the talent of becoming a Grand Magus.
P.S Yeah, I'll see what I can do, leave it to me. Don't blame me though if I accidentally choose some psycho or idiot though.

DazzlingGem You're too impatient, overbearing and demanding! How rude, I'll have you know that song is very solemn and beautiful, a storytelling of a fated meeting and being lost in grief but I guess some people have little to no regard or sympathy for a summoned creature and his summoner.
Ah right, I haven't read the novel yet but Supreme Uprising, the novel with the most votes in male lead right now gives off the same vibe of CoPW in its synopsis and art style. Yeah, so check that out.
Actually, I was waiting for the last two weeks for it to win, but now that The Legendary Mechanic is up for voting I'm leaning towards that. After all, the MC has two swords and an assault rifle furthermore the MC transmigrates into a video game world he once played, as an NPC.
This is the synopsis.
What do you do when you wake up and find yourself inside the very game that you love?
What do you do when you realize you that you have not only become an NPC - you have even been thrown back in time to before the game even launched!
What will happen when our protagonist's two realities coincide?
Han Xiao was a professional power leveler before his transmigration. Using his past life's knowledge, Han Xiao sweeps through the universe as he prepares for the arrival of the players. This is definitely not your typical transmigration novel.
My question is: Are the players actually going to come...or are they not? This reminds me of Night Ranger and a few other novels but the players did not come in those, so this would be a new concept.
There are two ways of looking at this, either the players can come meaning that they are playing a game that is actually a fleshed-out alternate universe without knowing. This means he got sent into the past, as an 'NPC' or native of that game world. (Or possibly sent to a different timeline at an earlier point in time if you really want to debate transmigration).
Or, those past players and him included were playing the virtual simulation version and he alone got transmigrated into the real alternate universe one. This is the pretty typical way of how Second Chance Video Game Transmigrations are done.

Oh, and according to Master Barker, he'll be the one translating Supreme Uprising. I'm voting for it since he was also translating SoT... and even posted in this thread before... but didn't pick this up.
