I would argue that it isn't really ongoing anymore. The last chapter update for 4 months ago (not counting any VIP ones that I haven't got access to).

I don't have a problem waiting for the sync. 1 chapter a day would mean ~8-9 months to get back to 265 (latest free chapter) which is a long time but at least we'd have some progress which is more than we have now.

I agree that a fan translation is the most likely though. So... who knows Chinese well enough to translate this novel?

          If you mean the 'mess' of the current translator for the new translator to use, I don't think it's a problem since the currently translated was clean enough (even if we compare it to some novels here 😅). And if they can get the permission to use those already translated, then your second will also be solved. 😁

          Though, as I've stated in the post above yours, the greatest problem is if Qidian doesn't actually plan to have this translated. 😔

          Thorrak I hope a fan can continue it. I saw a thread once before with someone asking for novels fans want him to translate. I'll try to look for it and check if we can request this. 😅 But not sure how to find that yet.
