I think both football(soccer) novels were brought to library for world cup hype. Sadly, no one considered it that time

bachingchung This novel is the prequel novel for one of Qidian's best-rated soccer/football novels. It's not a bad choice to gauge the interest for a pure sports non-system novel.
The Sequel is We are the Champions about the MC's professional career.
9.3 rating on Qidian.
And yes, it would tie in nicely with the World Cup.
It's also the same author as the other QI sports novel that will be coming out on Monday.
