Okay. I’m not normally one to rant but this TGIF completely didn’t work. Webnovel got our hopes up about a massive release of Hidden Marriage chapters as a reward for a goal that was not actually feasible.
As far as I know, the whole point of the TGIF format was suppose to be about rewarding loyal readers by providing something “fun and beneficial” as well as enjoyable. I understand setting goals for rewards but they must be attainable. It would be different if the goal was to rate and provide feedback on Webnovel’s own website which for the most part all of us are already members but trying to manipulate us into recommending a book on another website that we might not ever have read or really dislike with 5 stars in order for you to provide us with a reward of chapters from a book we actually like reading completely doesn’t make any sense. As many others have pointed out, you are violating Amazon’s own guidelines for using their site which as a web format yourself seems counterintuitive. If your website was in Amazon’s position, I don’t believe you would appreciate a bunch of people logging on to your site to write in the review section of a novel: 5 stars! Never read this novel but trying to get extra chapters for a novel I do actually enjoy reading! Thanks for letting us spam your website with false reviews! and in true TGIF for ENJOY YOUR DAY!

I joined this website in the first place because I truly love Hidden Marriage’s storyline and continue to accumulate spirit stones in order to read the latest chapters. However, every time we have one of these events for TGIF the rules are never clear. There is never a deadline set for when things need to be achieved by and the instructions are always confusing and frustrating.
I am extremely bummed that most likely in order to provide the ridiculous amount (300) of backlogged translated chapters for the event, there were not any chapters uploaded Thursday before this event. I would like to petition for a mini mass release of 5-10 chapters over the weekend in order to make up for this quite disappointing TGIF.

Here is my 5 star review for Bringing Home the Nation’s Husband (praising its translation while using the format of if you don’t have anything good to say, avoid talking about the novel completely) which will never be featured on Amazon

Regarding this particular novel, it was not one my favorites from Qidian. However, I’m excited that Webnovel is releasing their finished translations as ebooks. If you like modern romances that focus on “secret” marriages or relationships, I would highly recommend some of Webnovel’s other translations including Full Marks Hidden Marriage: Pick Up a Son, Get a Free Husband by Jiong Jiong You Yao translated by EndlessFantasy, Trial Marriage Husband: Need to Work Hard by Passion Honey translated by Yunyi and Perfect Secret Love: The Bad New Wife is a Little Sweet by Jiong Jiong You Yao translated by eunimon. Hopefully, after they are fully translated, they will be released on kindle as well.

And Finally my 5 star review of Hidden Marriage (which some people thought was the goal of this particular TGIF and I agree with would have been a better idea than the one actually presented)

    Honestly, I would rather stick with the slow releases for HM than give a 5 star rating to a book where the ML has temper tantrums and rapes the FL, then sends her ginger tea and pain relievers the next day because he's loved her for 13 years and is worried she's hurt, but does the same thing over and over again. Oh but they finally cleared the misunderstanding that goes on for 600 chapters and live happily ever after🤷🏽‍♀️.
    Compared to the adorable MoTing and LuTingXiao, the ML for BTNHH is a bit over the top with his violent actions for almost 600 chapters but justifies it with his 13 year unrequited love, when he didn't even confess.
    It's okay if QI doesn't want to give mass release for HM, but asking for fake reviews for another novel by using HM as bait is just low.

              One point I want to make is that Webnovel, never said if the chapters for HM will be premium or not, because if it's not there's enough chapters to do the release. And fact is that they should give us 100 chapters, for the disappointment that they gave us. Because right now I only see about 16 reviews.

                Hmm.... I bet this fake reviews "contest" got reported more times than the actual reviews they received. I wonder if Qidan will even apologize for encouraging unethical behavior or... just quietly delete this post and pretend it never happened.
