Billdoor well from what I understand, the thing that they want to implement the most is a paywall, instead of dealing with simple suggestions like these first...

    I use the scrolling function on safari and I see no problem with it. except for the different fonts available there isn't much difference between the reader mode

      X4PPY like mentioned above I use the reader mode on Firefox on my tablet, for the most part I don’t have any issues on safari however I find the screen a bit too small on my iPhone to enjoy to the full extent. I plan on buying an ipad but that will be probably some time next year...

      Also by creating a next chapter mode it would allow an easier way of navigating as without I have to turn off the reader mode off and use the ToC but if next chapter mode existed it would just transfer to the next chapter and I can click reader mode eliminating a lot of pointless moving about with the ToC and reader mode whether on safari or Firefox.

          Battery consumption on the app is big? All I use is the app and I find the browser which comes from my phone more draining since I can turn off internet and read offline.

          Page turn ability which we see on app should be implemented for mobile version. I think that is a great idea. @WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL

              [unknown] I could use the Infinity scroll however I dislike the DARK MODE as I use a blue light filter so at times I have to raise the light on the tablet to be able to see the text as for some reason it is really shaded out.

                        I mean if it's something that is very passionate for you, then perhaps they can include some sort of a option for it somewhere in settings... would be easy. But not sure if Qidian would care enough... I'll follow the post to see what happens to it later on. Bump on- lol

                          personally, i prefer the scroll but everybody is different. maybe qidian can give readers the option to either scroll or turn page for next chapter

                          I'm reading some stories on GravityTales and I love how I can use my arrow buttons... Up and Down to scroll, Left and Right to switch chapters...

                          DeathStroke96 If you're using Firefox, you could just use the normal mode, scroll till end and wait until the next chapter loads. No going back to the ToC. In my opinion, reading in normal mode using Firefox works just fine.

                              Raskreia He was saying that he wants a "Next Chapter" button, and doesn't like the infinity scroll where you scroll down and the next chapter loads. I kind of understand because I used to get this thing where if my tab would reload, I'd be sent back to where I started the novel, and lose my place entirely. Used to bother the hell out of me. Not sure if it still happens as I've learned to stop my tabs from reloading... but it used to happen a lot.

                                  Cilliez Did not happen to me yet, despite using Firefox from the start, so I can't really judge. I just keep my mouth shut from now on and 'to each his own' I guess.

                                      Raskreia No worries, it was a while ago that it happened to me, it seems like they've fixed it now~ But yeah, you can't help liking one thing more than another sometimes, I just say if it's something someone else is that passionate about then maybe it's worth listening to. :P

                                          In all honesty and probably a bit off topic but a total solution. Maybe get a better tablet with some battery life in it to sustain your reading, my battery last for 6-7 hours, from 100% to 20% on my Xperia Z4 tablet when I use the app for reading(you know wake up one lazy Saturday and just read until you feel hungry lol).

                                          I personally dislike the design of the app so after you get your tablet with better battery lets just make it easier for everyone and hammer out those naughty qidian app issues cause really, I agree the app is not user accepted in terms of options and ease of access.

                                          Can't say I would mind a next chapter button, don't see myself using it much but who knows I might need it one day.
                                          Anywho got my vote for a rainy day need.

                                            +1 on next chapter or prev chapter buttons.
                                            +1 on more font and color options. Would like to make night mode black with white font etc.
