Misguided_Rooster Transcending Nine Heaven? There is a stupid TV romance in it, but the antagonist in genius. Probably the best antagonist I ever read in a Web novel so far. The second realm started to turn into generic wuxia story (I had a hard time to continue), but the first realm deserved to be called a perfect fight between daredevil genius with reincarnation cheats and smart low-key SUPER genius. I have a Sephiroth Syndrome for the boss.
The author also made good story like
- I Am Supreme (Barely any love so far), a bit too confusing. I think it is more about brotherhood, I still read in early phase.
- Realms in The Firmament (Also great, genius vs genius but lack the perfect antagonist with background like Transcending Nine Heaven.)
- Otherworldly Evil Monarch (This one is so-so a bit too generic and lack the thinking used in his other novel. The romance even worst in this. Every girl fall left and right to the MC and the MC is stupid at most times, and smart at little times. However, numerous cheats and hero aura saved him. Worst of all his novel.)
MasterRabbink Otherworldly Evil Monarch was actually pretty good. I don't know why tho, author decided to turn mc into a clown. He was a cold blooded and prideful assassin, now he is a clown that gets slapped on his bum when he does something wrong and can't say no to spoiled girls. Novel had real potential, but author really ruined it just so he can have some sh*ts and giggles. I mean, if you didn't begin your novel as a comedy novel, then don't turn it into one at the middle of it. It would be like Strongest System turning into WMW. It would be such an abrupt change that people reading the novel for it's comedic value would just drop it...
I like "Cultivation Chat Group". It's funny, but the story and world is well thought. Well written, and no character is an idiot ... ohhhhhh thanks for that!!!
It's a bit slow at the beginning, but latter on is great.
If you don't mind reading in mtl you can try Immortal. It's one of the best novels that I had read and right now I'm reading Above the Skies from the same author. (unfortunately I can only read it with Google Translator which is much worse than MTL)
Give Mao Ni novel's a try. Joy of Life is quite different from what you currently read but it is worth the try. Another is Nightfall- same author but it takes patience to understand coz of all those hoatian blah blah. In the end you will be glad you persevered.
I search a novel where the MC is handsome but have a cruel heart that breaking heart every girl that close to him by dumping them after he 'taste' their body. is there any? Hahaha
