Ying_Tao Using a readers perspective I would say wouldn't mind it too much. (Unless it happens every chapter, ugh...)

I guess it would also depend if the story has a unique cultivation system/ranking system. For ex. TGD, POT, LoHP etc.

But if it's a typical Xianxia cultivation system such as Qi Condesation, Foundation Establishment, Core Formation, Nascent Soul etc. A litte less would do.

Also it would be best to scatter those informations so that readers would have something to look out for.
