I want to know what kind of books readers here really like?

I am writing The Masked Vampire King's Accidental Bride.

The book has a strong female lead who is living with hidden identities and the most dangerous prince as Ml who simps for Fl.
The book has good views and fans, seeing how I am a new author.
But even after having all those readers and views, I am not getting much reviews. The readers comment but do not review.
Is that a normal occurrence here? Does it happen to everyone?

To be honest with you, most loyal readers are actually the silent ones. They'll be the ones that support by sending gifts and buying chapters. You do get a few that will give reviews but most will just read and quietly support your writing, sometimes commenting.

As for your first question, well that's a little hard to say. There are different things that readers like which is why there are different genres and tropes. However, you can try and ask readers to leave reviews for an extra chapter / mass release (I know WN readers like that)

de_writer That's what I have been seeing too. None of my paying readers who send golden tickets or gifts etc leave review. One or two comment here and there, but never a review. That's why I was wondering if something was wrong with my book. Ngl.
      Thanks for replying.

Basically talking about how readers (proper readers / fans) interact with stories.

NewbieJimjim That's not what I am talking about. I am just wondering why readers are not reviewing the book even when they are paying enough to read it. Like when I ask them in the chapters, they do comment on the book, but never leave a review.

Okwuma I am just asking a better suggestion on why some readers don't leave a review even when they are paying the story to read ache chapter, even sending gifts and everything. I guess they are just silent readers.

AngelinaBhardawaj Readers who invest their time reading books mostly like to read books that have hundreds of chapters or an amount that will kill their time. Now about what they like to read, this is based on authors. If you are able to publish a romantic novel you are likely to get more engaging views faster than other genres. People seek pleasure, and thrill and like to have adrenaline all over them. That is where the Romance genre has such a large scale, cause it comes with tension, patients, sensations, and frustration which causes people to stick on the edge. That is only when you are able to publish such works through your words. People also like action fantasy and all kinds of genres. But it really all depends on how the author is putting effort into their words in these books.

About the review part. some people like to review your books after they have completely gone through the book and have finished it. That is how a review should work, but because of self-promoting the scale has declined. You have to review swap or you have to wait for people who truly go through your works and words, they will review it but that will take much more time. And another thing is your book needs 10 reviews for it to get a preview rating. Thus you either wait for them to review your work or you have to review swap with other authors.
