nekrom1 okay so here are some other platforms and thier pros/cons.
1, tapas, it is a bit hard to get fetured but you do get monetisation pretty early on. Unfortunately the primary readers are comic reader.
2, moonquil, good passive income. But small audience.
3, Radish, it is very hard work bro not good for non romane stories. Basically me. They push for daily uploads no less than 1000 words.
4 whattpad, IDK haven't tried it heard it was good.
5, Dreime... DONT USE THIS.
6, Royal Road, action fantasy great active community.
7, Patron, haven't tried it heard its good income not passive income.

there are many places in discord as well for promotion.

@Arsenalhole6ty9 I use Webnovel, Royal Road, Scribble Hub and Wattpad. From the four, I have more view in webnovel, more rating/review on Royal Road and more comment on Scribble hub while Wattpad it's just dying due to my story not fitting the reader taste there. Using multiple platforms are good cause you get view/feedback, while some platform tend to have more audience in a genre, you can still fit there.

Sleds_Writer Okay so I am writing my own novel first and uploaded it on webnovel and wanted to upload on other sites and someone suggested royal roads so I am asking, can I just upload the same chapters I written and uploaded on webnovel or should I do something else and will there be any precautions and I didn't sign any contract with them right now

@nekrom1 Until you got an exclusive contract, you can upload your story wherever you want. You own it and no contract restrain you. So your free to do what you want with it. For the contract part, you have more chance to get one with webnovel than royal road. to be honest I didn't even know if their contract on Royal Road

UelUel yes they do but tapas publishing is website only but it has an app.
UelUel they are both really good.

UelUel and tapas has more features they allow different fonts bold writing different size they allow illustrations also. But it is more popular for comics.

if you don't have a contact it is totally fine.
But, if you do things get out of your hands.

You lose your own rights to your story.
At least with webnovel but they do give a good salary.

@Claudiah_Darius You won't get paid by any website if you didn't get a contract, the only way to be paid is to have a patreon or thing like that and your readers can pay with "donation".
uhmm..hello i have a question...Could you please tell me about your experience with signing exclusive contracts on Webnovel? I'm now thinking about whether to pursue an exclusive contract because i got invited 2 times already, and I feel your viewpoint may be helpful.
