So I have a book im really enjoying reading, I finally caught up to where I have to use spirit stones to unlock chapters, I noticed that around 200ish chapters are locked, I have bought some spirit stones to read more then realized its going to cost me a few hundred dollars to catch up to the current chapters, is this how its set up and designed? Every book I read is going to cost me hundreds to read more of? Just curious

    Though the chs are unlocked automatically on a daily basis, but if you have unlocked them and progressed in the novel further ahead... you will need to wait until the free releases caught up to you.... meaning if the free ch are at 200.... you are on 500 adn the novel is unlocked 2 ch per day.... you will have to wait till 150 days until the chps further ahed of 500 are unlocked...
    this system forced those who buy once, get forced to buy it again and again, ultimately turning them into whales.....

    And for completed novels..... once done.... only 100ch will be free to read... the rest you will have to pay money for it......

                              But to be honest, usual books are much shorter (lower double digit chapters) and therefore cheaper. Here the novels like Immortal Mortal - it is better to refer to it as a series of books where all chapter are available instead of one single book only. Like maybe one volume are 50 chaps. If you want to read the whole series it will obviously cost more than just one volume. Either time stacking up SS or money for instant satisfaction.
                              Example: 50 chaps= one volume, per chap 10 SS, so 500 SS for one volume might cost you some weeks stacking up SS or 10 dollars. I think it is ok. Just people are shocked, that former free stuff isn't free anymore. Get it as well.
