You know only the author know the best about his novel worth
Qidian can just take 10% of the author earning

The original owner can only sue you based law on your country
The punishment also based on law in your country, not international law

But it is allright if we copy other person movie/manga/novel character?
Do they need approval from the original creator first?

I think there is nothing wrong for author to become premium early if he really commit to his/her novel
By becoming a premium you can earn money (this boost your spirit to create more chapter)
You can get an editor (you can save a lot of time editing your chapter)

I think 50.000 word is reasonable (if per chapter contain 500 word that means you need 100 chapter) that's quite a lot for new author
