    so i come back to webnovel. I search CCG and just want to know how far it has been. 1 chapter title (chapter 2307- trully envious of Bai Youyou) caught my attention since idk who is bai youyou. after looking at the comment section bai youyou is Senior white 2. and then i see that endless translation is the translator. Sooooo:

    • where is the old translator of cultivation chat group? why the new translator are so bad? Endless was a veteran translation group right? i remember u guys were translating "i am supreme" back then.

      • In Guide to enjoy slow paced novel

        A few days ago i have a discussion with some people in this forum, from that discussion i find that merely discussing (or debating) isnt going to make the situation any better (worse is if there are people who try to look smart). So i decide to make this rough guide (If u can make this guide better, do tell). so here it goes:

        1) Find the perfect time > most of time u will take longer time to finish 1 chapter of slow paced novel. If u usually only need 30 min to 10 chapters in one go, with slow paced novel u probably need 30 min to get 1 chapter done. so when is the perfect time? depends. But for me, the perfect time is on friday to sunday (weekend) bcause u will have more time n chapters to read (since the more chapters u have, the better it get)

        2) try to not skimming chapter> slow pace novel isnt like generic xianxia where u can still understand even if u skimming some chapters, u will still understand those generic xianxia. skimming is a bad idea in reading slow pace novel. It will ruin the novels If u start skimming, end ur reading time. no one ask u to finish ur reading in one go. plus if u get sleepy, chance is ur eyes are tired or u get dehydrated. (which is a sign to take a rest n atleast a glass of water)

        3) find a good songs>if u can dont use slow songs (since u will get sleepy) or fast songs (since it doesnt match with slow pace novel) find songs that are just enough n u like it. Here is my current playlist

        after the songs done i just let it auto play the next song

        4) Find a good translator> bad translator will turn u off bcause what we read is not chinese/ korean novel but TRANSLATED CHINESE OR KOREAN NOVEL. that being said can QI add a feature which let us find novels by searching the translator?

        5) If u still cant read slow novel then its okay!> heck i am still not done with NF n way of choices (since i watch the drama n finish it faster than the novels. :D

          Tomoyuki I think you seem to be mistaken on something. The xianxia and What's Next for new readers is only for the New Ongoing Releases. For older readers who want something else, they should check out Recommended, Power Ranking, Popular, New to Webnovel, Ladies' Pick, Trending Original Stories (especially this) and Daily Update

          idk how to say it, idk where u lost it, but i think u misunderstood me. I never said anything about "WHAT NEXT FOR THE NEW READER". NEVER. my problem is with "what next? vote for ur favorite book (the one where u can choose which novel should be hosted in QI) Is it only new reader section? NO. All the readers be it new reader to mature reader can vote for the novel. but why most of the time all of the choicees is always generic xianxia? Mature reader also deserve something fresh.

Furthermore, if you're interested in a specific genre, you can click on the genre tag, e.g. fantasy or science fiction. And the energy stones aren't the only method of voting - most older readers will vote using power stones. That will contribute to what stories are most popular in the Power Ranking - hence the two different voting systems. And this will determine who gets contracts.

                    CKtalon yeah i understrand ur point. I just find it irritating. QI always give us generic xianxia almost every week. sometimes they even publish those generic xianxia without vote. I know that the market target is not for me. i understand, but what i cant understand is why only for new readers? what about the mature reader? we deserve something fresh too right? Is it dificult to put something other than generic xianxia as a choice to vote? the only time there is no generic xianxia in the favorite book section that i can remember is when GOC is in it, now lets compare it with how many times all the choices are generic xianxia, many times.

                        CKtalon They were new, which is probably why you started reading them in the first place. How many books did you finish before you started having your present thoughts? And how long did it take?

                        Start reading bcause i see the manhua of Xian Ni. so first novel is Xian Ni (when void still TL it)so i start reading Chinese wn not bcause of generic xianxia. n then some people said "try ATG n MGA". only last 100 n 300 ch n drop them. n then read CD didnt read the last book tho. after that i saw the author of Xian Ni write another novel which is ISSTH (n its GOOD), then i see u in GT u have a good speed n good quality so i start reading TMW. after that u said that there is a prolog to tmw n i start reading MW. n then u go to WW with TMW n AC to WW. n then there was a site named xianxiaworld. read GOS , beast piercing the heaven n domnating sword immortal

                        so around 4-5 novels (ATG, MGA, GOS, beast piercing the heaven n domnating sword immortal) I start having my present thoughts. n in QI we have around 10-15 novels with this kind . i think its more than enough

                        so u urself admit that we get a garbage novel. ps: i am getting curious how many "new readers QI get/ month

                        3) so in conclusion: This fantastic novels arent fantastic in the end, Bcause the main criteria was never about quality but "which novel will sell." thankyou for ur long explanation

                                    CKtalon They have had 18 years to flesh out all sorts of troupes, so they have seen way more than what international readers have read.

                                    Again even IF we are considered infants, 3 novels with the same genre to choose are too much. dont u think so? n worse is, its not just about genre. its litterally the same novel only have a different skill name diferent place name, diferent treasure name. (they still have MC with his temper, kill left n right with his "righteous" reason, a harem, n big boobs) Having 3 novels like that as a choices? Thats just not right

                                          I still think that giving 3 novels with the same genre too choose is too much tho. Yes most new readers like it but remember the keywods here: "MOST" n "NEW". let me repeat myself: giving 3 novels with the same genre too choose is too much. PLUS its effect known in china, webnovel is at interational level already!

                                          instead of giving us a bad novel, why dont QI try to find another TL n editor for the good novel but is dropped or have bad TL? (Thriller paradise for example?)

                                              so its been a month since the last chapter, what happen to this TTC? when can i expect the new chapter? n can i expect a new chapter from TP too? i think both of this novel are better than xianxia novels with a story that keep being used over n over again (dont want to say the title of the said novel, the list wont end).
