Well... To put it simply, WN doesn't give a damn about Top Fans.
There was this novel called History's Strongest Son-in-law in this iteration of trial read novels. It had 320+ top fans but still got dropped. Instead two other novels got selected, the ones you have mentioned.
1) the empress's gigolo - last updated 1 month. I don't know what happened but the latest chapter keeps re-uploading again and again but we don't get new chapters.
2) the peerless emperor - from trial read. It was one of the novels that I enjoyed the most in trial read section. Sadly it wasn't selected for translation. Is there any possibility of bringing it back?

I think they would do a great task translating it...And release rate would be decent too
