Or is it that being a blacksmith, he's able to make weapons from his original world? That would be cool depending on how you do it.

But, the cliche part is him dying due to a car accident. I've read my fair share of isekai books and while I've become used to the truck and car, for some readers, it'll turn them off thinking it's "another typical isekai" (I could be wrong here).

What you can do is since the MC sister died from cancer, couldn't you make it like he overworked himself trying to cure her, but even so, she still died? That could lead on his grief and then the weight of everything tumbles down and he dies from exhaustion? People wouldn't expect that, or if they did, it'll be better than the usual trope of being hit by a vehicle. You know, this could be one of the things that separate your novel from the others.

I've also read an isekai book on this site where the MC ended up in another world but he didn't die, didn't got summoned to be a hero nor did some god make a mistake. Instead, it was the other MCs fault and that made it interesting.

You could try to do something like that. If you want.

I hope I didn't sound too harsh. I didn't mean to come off as such.
