We need to let new readers know exactly what they are getting into by reading on Qidian and how they handle things so I propose if all of us disgruntled readers post the truth not our opinion on the various novels comment sections on novelupdates; amazon and on the social media pages maybe some poor saps will not be tricked like we were.

SweetsTomato I used to be very active on WN, well active for me but as soon as they pulled crap like increasing the expiration on freestones etc without notice, I just stopped and slowly but surely got fed up of the novels as well.
free_roamer true that but i think if they did the math on what they were actually paying then they wouldn't pay (ie if they are reasonable) but the spirit stones are like a wool over their eyes.
You know it's really funny that this is happening cause from qidian actions from the very beginning you know this was gonna happen. They just slowly boiled us like a frog, it really doesnt matter if we stay or leave cause we have already built their reputation, so us poor people need not stay, cause the fresh meat who are not used to the freedom we have enjoyed will run right in. It also makes no sense to be complaining on their site, especially this forum cause as proven previously all complaints will be drowned out by the many other chats and it is not like qidian will listen to us this was their plan from the beginning and i doubt this is the end. All im saying is to spread the word on sites like novelupdates so they can find alternate options and not be deceived by this spirit stone system that makes it look like they are getting a deal but in reality are spending way too much for sub-par; repetitive novels that are meant to make money through word length and not quality.
PS as my good youtubers said about Crunchyroll, qidian is a business not a charity and I seriously doubt the authors and translators are getting paid appropriately. It makes no sense to buy an overpriced product out of some faint sense of moral obligation. It would be much better to find a way to get the money directly to the authors and translators instead if that what drives you and get ur novels from a pirate. In my opinion, if qidian wants our money they have to make a product worthy of my hard earned money.
I for one am no saint and neither is Qidian.

Honestly glad I gradually stopped reading novels on this site cause we readers are a frog in a pot of water while they slowly but surely turn up the heat.

WonderDuckie As you said water army I found it quite funny as the readers who would write reviews for chapters are in, all things considered, a paying water army not a paid one. QI really knows how to milk don't they, though they don't plan things out properly at all or we won't even know we were counting the money they sold us for.

About nation husband it is locked at 719, are there still daily chapters being released? If there are what is the point in buying the book, in parts no less.
I got tempted to the dark side and read the MT but realized round 800 chapters that it wasnt completed and now im still waiting, it will probably finish at 3000+ chapters................

And Netflix pays millions to make their own movies and for bids to provide exclusive shows and yet they only charge 10per month, tell me what type of expenditure does qidian have to charge this much.
natto Qidian needs to make money yes but they are quite overpriced and this method that seems fair is quite the scam. Look at Netflix for example you only have to pay 10USD per month to be able to view hundreds of movies and tv shows and on the premium system you have to pay 7-8USD and more for 
NOVEL, y’all must be crazy. And having the spirit stones expire because, lord have mercy, INFLATION, is utter bullshit, excuse the language. Inflation would only occur if there is exchange of stones within the community but we are all using them for just novels and they are going right back into qidian pockets.
Qidian business model and practices are an insult to us. And the excuse that they need to make money is no more pathetic than saying that I need to pirate novels because I’m poor.
Another example is crunchyroll where u only have to pay 7 dollars for subscribtions and u dare to say qidian is not scamming us, please eh give me a break. Not to mention all the other sites that allow free viewing of their sites and at least the money goes straight to the translation.
Another damning fact about qidian is that they have proven time and time again that they can change anything whenever they want. Meaning that if they find that things are too cheap or they have taken over enough of the prices they can sneakily change the amount of spirit stones per words which would increase the prices or just straight up increase prices. They can also just make it so that purchased stones can be expired cause we all know that qidian can and probably would do it, without informing us too at that lol. Look without any announcement they changed the daily login expire date so what prevents them from changing whatever they want.
In they future when they have enough readers they may just put up a permanent and pricey paywall for us.
So tell me does a business have a right to suck their customers dry all in the name of profit. But I guess it’s up to us whether or not we will voluntarily present our necks on a platter.
Xamar At least u are using them, I don’t even read premium books and at most spend 12 stones a day to skip ads, they could have warned us so I wouldn’t have wasted my time watching ads.
Paroxyde it wasn’t always, it was 3 months before the premium update and that’s the reason why I’m losing stones like crazy. Too bad they didn’t have the decency to inform us.
They changed the expiration date of log in stones from 3 to 1 month I think. That’s why mine are currently plunging into the abyss, I had 1800 by the way and it went down to 1500 in a couple of days.
