Perhaps an option to decide font colour, or to pick from a small selection of styles that are visually pleasing?

Unfortunately, I have to agree. I'm finding it difficult to read the words now in Nightmode due to the 'greyed' font instead of the original white. I'm well aware that trying new things can lead to new discoveries, but sometimes, fixing what isn't broken can make something broken.
