The_Cheese - appreciate the thought. It’s working normally now, not the first time this has happened though, probably won’t be the last either.

The_Cheese - yep. Tried a complete refresh, still no change.
iPhone 6 SE, iOS 13.3
Also downloaded the latest version of Webnovel a couple days ago. Just tried reading a bit more, some chapters of King’s Avatar that I unlocked. Still at only 138 minutes read.
The_Cheese - yep, iOS and app all fully up to date.
I noticed that my reading minutes were not recording (I was at 138 this morning, still at 138). This after I have been reading for the last hour or so at least.
Is anyone else having this problem?
I read for quite a number of minutes both last night and this morning and noticed that my reading minutes are not counting at all.
I know that there is a period, but is that period over 7 hours long? This seems unfair to not count for such a long period and not tell readers this.
ReachZhaiTW Hello and thank you for taking a look. It was on 9-01 that the issue popped up, as you can see, I had read about 225 minutes with well over 100 of that occurring before 9:00am Pacific Standard Time, but my minutes read counter was stuck at 591 the entire time and I was unable to complete the 600 minute weekly mission. I don’t know of a way to retrieve a record of my reading minutes from last week as proof.
Obviously not a big deal, just a bit frustrating that I was so close and couldn’t seem to complete the mission. I will certainly try to take screenshots next time I notice something similar happening.
Regards,
Yeah, Qidian is definitely registering that I’m reading and paging through chapters, but for some reason I’ve been at 591 minutes for the last two hours and it hasn’t budged.
I just noticed that I have been reading for about 30 minutes in real time yet my minutes read counter hasn’t gone up at all. Does anyone know how Qidian accounts for reading time?
