Is there a way to hide the privileged chapters? I dont want to see that there are 50+ chapters available when there are none actually

If you choose only one new novel it would be fine to unlock the chapters
Otherwise search the free ones. Currently I am actually keeping up only with free novels anyway so it’s not that there aren’t worthwhile titles

Author_Shizu yes, I have heard of Diabolic Lovers - mostly bad things. Well, the fans of the original VN are very eager to get it localized in English so maybe just the anime is a flop. But DL is otome - you have many love options but by the end of the story you choose only one. while there may be some semi harem ending in the Visual Novel, the nature of the medium is still straight. Of course if you are simply using the setting for inspiration that’s fine, but as an example of a real reverse harem where FL has multiple male lovers at the same time that is not the best example.

Acutelittletrap, that is not right. There is demand for that genre. It is just extremely hard to find something that resonates with the reader and there are few famous examples.

While I like the idea, the few times I tried novel with consumed reverse harem I was left with mixed feelings. It is fundamentally harder to pull off than traditional harem. Girls are more demanding toward the characters, story progression and the MC. The MC is actually the hardest part since the heroine needs to be somewhat relatable which is a bit hard when she goes around and picks flowers for her harem - no one want to identify with a slut after all.
If you think that your idea is good give it a try. Rather than asking for opinion on reverse harem you should give us a sample or story overview with the general idea so we could give you a proper feedback

Well, with things put this way I can confidently say that either ML will be disliked by the readers for letting her do whatever she likes (even if in the name of cultivation) or FL will be for being unfaithful and easy(even if it is with other girls).
You could proceed with this but be very mindful how you present each situation. That sort of thing can really be a deal breaker for any reader.
Based only on this point the character will get a lot of hate but if you include extra character traits and put them in suitable situations it is possible to pull it off. Like present her point - why is she so insistent on having the extra partners? Is it based on some sort of trauma? How much she cares for anyone aside ML? If her way of thinking is warped you should make ML helps her realize it.

Bit to clear it up a bit: So we have Male Lead that kinda feel obliged to take care of FL1 and satisfy her carnal desires. FL1 was in gay relationship with FL2 but when her man started to pay her some attention she jumped ship. Probably because she was feeling a bit guilty she wanted to take FL2 with her to start a big happy family with ML.
However the true love of ML is not actually either FL1 or FL2. So probably we will have development like
ML: “Well, FL2 is cute and she is now ok with being in polyamourous relationship so even if I feel a bit disturbed I guess it is fine to take her in”
FL1 and FL2: “ We are ok to be the pretty vases by the ML side”
A goddess with fair skin, big boobs, long black hair, perfect face and seductive gaze appears.
ML: “This is my true love! I will make her the queen of my harem(yep, he now used to the idea of all pretty girls opening legs for him)”
This is the problem this harems: once the girl gets seduced she loses all of her individuality and is no longer interesting or needed in the story.
What do you intend to do with FL1 and FL2 when the next girl appears? I can somewhat understand how FL2 may decide to join the bedroom fun but FL3,4,5... would need to be either retarded or nymphomaniacs in order to continue the trend. Will leave the true female lead out of it since she will probably have very special circumstances.
Well, it may be interesting if FL1 and FL2 baclstabed ML when he brings in a few more girls for example something among the lines of FL1 stole half of the ML cultivation as a punishment for being too frivolous? Seeing him powerless half of the rest of the harem leave him and only the girls that truly care for him help him to get back to the top.

Yep it is short but even if you give more samples it wouldn’t help much. You need someone to beta read something that you have already finished (or at least a few chapters done).

By the way I would read for how someone is tying his shoes if it is writen well, not to mention about a call to the police ;)

If there are decent qidian stories that are still untranslated, I will happily support them to see the light of the day. Currently all of the female protagonists books on the site are all top quality

It is really good story so aside from yaoi lovers anyone who doesn’t mind the sexual orientation of the MC would enjoy it.

Pluto your explanation and input is most appreciated. Also thank you for working on DW it is wonderful story that I love to pieces and am happy that its translator is passionate about it as well.
My intention by posting in the topic was to point a general problem with the site system rather than blaming any particular translator or editor. That is the reason why I did not give any examples and just described the tendency. Even if scrapping the project is not the case for you, it has been the case for someone else. From the perspective of the readers if there is no communication between the two sides it is the same. And it is the same for the site - I am glad to know that qidian actually takes action behind the scenes but they need to work on the feedback issue.

Then what? The readers will get new chapters only when the nearly dead projects' translators run out of pocket money?

That is an issue that needs to be addressed more seriously. If it was fan translation it is ok to bring new releases whenever the translator feels like but in here the editors and translators are paid for their work. There should be a proper guideline for the cases when updates have stopped for over a week or so. Like for example a bonus that can be received only if the translator keeps to the contract schedule?
Also these sort of topics as systematically being ignored. How are the readers supposed to know if a project is still alive if no one answer their questions and usually there is no annoncement from the translators as well?

I am one of the few that vote Ghost blows out the light in gravity. Too bad that it is on hold.
If it is possible to be translated here I am all in.
By the way there is another similar novel that I am reading Grave Robber. If someone is interested give it a try.

I would have been very surprised if there were some on the site. Personally I would love to see some of the mild ones published however the majority of the readers are males focused on cultivation novels. I doubt it will be well received. Heck, even the female orientated ones are rarity in here >>
