  • Happy_AltRight I think popularity depends not only on the quality of the novel but also on how it is advertised (to the right audience), the way PR is handled by the author/publisher, how much exposure it gets, and a lot of other factors.

Of course, a bad novel probably won't get popular even if you get all of these right. But something doesn't need to be the best of the best to become the most popular.

For example, the most popular actor doesn't have to be the one with the best acting. He's the one who got the most suitable role in the most successful film. Is his success unwarranted? No. Does that make him the best actor? Also no.

  • Ms_Rosie If it's been published recently, your book is probably waiting to be vetted. In case it's been over a week and it still doesn't, your book didn't pass the vetting (meaning a content editor manually went through it and found something very wrong).
If it's an older book that used to show up but now doesn't, then it's probably been blacklisted for either non-ASCII character or 'controversial content'. In that case, you should contact customer service, or writershelper@webnovel.com if you think it's a mistake.

You don't need to provide your bank details to WN, because there's no way to get paid without signing a contract first (either exclusive or non-exclusive). And to sign a contract you'll need to provide the bank details at that time anyway.

So I'd say wait until you get a contract, no need to add your bank details before that. When you eventually get offered one from WN, then you can take a look and see if you want to sign it. Then just provide your bank details at that time.
