Online? About 3 years, offline, 30 odd years lol. Read Tolkien when I was 10 as a bday gift and fantasy has hooked me ever since. Cultivation has a more personal feel than western fantasy, though some like David eddings and Robert Jordan could be closely compared. I can only praise authors for the world's they create.
