I've read the novel a few years agoand dropped cause it was too boring, picked it up again a few months ago and dropped it again for the same reason.

I get that the novel is on the more historical and court drama genre but it really gets too boring and the plot just not picking up. Like it talks about the world a bit on the beginning and provides us a hook for the the MC's future but that just goes out when he arrives in the capital. His training gets used but rarely and its the whole court drama thingy with plots and stuff, but then it drops a hook like when he finds out his mother might be a transmigrator like him and just as you think the plot picks up, nope back to daily life.

Long story short, can I ask someone who has read the novel drop a hook for me to bite into? I stopped just right before he leaves the capital at chapter 171. Like would he get to explore the world? Become more powerful or maybe finally be involve in something more exciting than what he has been doing the last 100 chapters?

And yeah you might be thinking, "why would you read it then if you don't like the genre or story?" and yeah i can do that but i have a tendency to read novels till the end when i start on them ans i like the trail of breadcrumbs the author leaves here and their but the execution of the plot and pacing leaves a lot for meto be desired.

Been planning to reread some of my older novels but saw this one hasn't received updates for some time now and translator section is empty, did the original translator quit?(I think the translator was LonelyTree)...Or has the translation caught up with the raw? Because last time I've read it was almost caught up with the raw.

m3gah1tss You wouldn't find anything on google, as google is banned in china, you can either go to the chinese qidian site and search for it there, but you wouldn't be able to copy and paste for google transkate unless you have an extension on your browser. 2nd thing is that it would also have locked chapters and personally i wouldn't go on with things concerning money on a site where I can't even read and understand. Another way would be to find some mtl, though personally I would just wait for it to get a proper translator and not read any stale 60 chapter books, just add them to library until they get a proper translator woking on it before reading them.

Personally the exp system is trash, only drive to use it is to get to lvl. 5 after that theres nothing, same amount of power stones and energy stones, besides you only get 1 FP and its not like your 3 stones will make a difference. Another thing is the "Leave a review" mission just destroys the whole star rating system like shit, you got rating bumpers everywhere on popular novels, some even doing the opposite review bombing a novek with low ratings.
TLDR; exp system is just exploit system, its trash.
