NewbieJimjim there are a lot of readers with that kind of stereotype, sadly. I guess if you want to attract more male readers despite having a female mc, try to make the girl on your book cover a bit more....strong-looking(?) or smart-looking(?) coz if I have to be honest, that kind of girl/book cover tends to be used a lot with harem/romance stories that are full of either lolis or big-chested dumbasses lol...that's why maybe some think that your book will be the same...it's the same with your book title....

NewbieJimjim for me, it doesn't really matter as long as the mc's not dumb or only have a one-track mind & personality. What really matters to me is...if the plot is compelling enough to make me want to read and if the characters (not only the mc) are fleshed-out coz I've seen a lot where the supporting characters are mindless bundle of texts & are just there to highlight the mc's character lol

And, I also don't like romance and harem/reverse harem...but this is just my personal preference

Alzre true..more filters are needed so that I'll be able to see the more refined books in the genres & sub genres I prefer. I have to do vigorous searching before I can find a decent book lol
