Let me rephrase that, no female MC where romance isn't THE main thing, and yes there are many strong female side-characters, but they are just that and never the MC..

So.. I've noticed that basically not a single dang novel from Asia has a female MC outside that genre, what's up with that? no female cultivators, no females in a sci-fi setting, nothing.
I'm curious about that, is there some underlying cultural difference that makes it hard to put females in roles other than romantic ones over there?
ReachZhaiTW Phew, all good now, shouldn't have reacted so strongly but I have a bunch of half read novels that I eventually intend to read and had no clue which chapter I dropped off on months ago :P
I just lost my current progress on like ten books that I haven't a clue at which chapter I was at, and that's not on any app, it just entirely reset on the account logged in on my computer..
What if I paid for SS's, unlocked a bunch of chapters and now they're locked again, after I paid to unlock them.. what then?...
Sovereign_of_Books That's not really relevant though, is it? You complained about being forced to pay for the non premium chapters in the post I responded to, which you're not, it's free if you watch ads, I do it all the time on my phone and it's usually around ten seconds of waiting, sometimes I get those annoying 30 sec ads.. and even then it's only the last couple of chapters that are locked that way, you could easily just skip reading those two half-locked chapters..
Sovereign_of_Books The non premium ones can be read without paying a thing, just watch ads for like 10 seconds and the chapter is unlocked, you're not forced to pay 4 SS for any of those chapters..
MasterRabbink Aah okay, good to know! I'm not up to date on the politics of it all, I just come and read my shit :P
truthorlie I'd say it's more like 7-13 with the check-in, and it's rarely on the upper end of the scale for me..
They can't, it's Korean, they publish Chinese works, and only the ones available on their Chinese site, you know, publisher/copyright stuff..
