Does anybody knows how trial reads work, because I just can’t make any sense of it.

Everywhere I go I see that people diss many wuxia novels for being unoriginal, the plot mostly being the same and characters being the same arrogant pricks without any personality to themselves .

But, I didn’t see nearly as much people saying the same thing about your typical female Mc novel. All these novels verbalize that a woman’s happiness lies in marrying a handsome and rich guy. Also, to note is that 90% of those female Mc‘s work in showbiz as if that’s the only job in the world.

I only listed a few things but surely there is more.

Here, I just want to rant over haters in general, because it annoys me that many people rate novels 1 without even reading it or rating it 1 after reading it where they knew they woudn’t like it straight from the beginning by reading the tags or title.

1. Harem novels
   There are many people that like harem novels and there are people who don’t. It’s ok to dislike harem novels, but then don’t read novels with harem tags or names like for example
   ‘Harem system’ and then go spouting how you hate harems.

2. Sex novels
   Firstly, novels are fiction and have nothing to do with reality. Many sex novels with some more ‘extreme’ themes are bad rated whereby it often was stated in the synopsis that there are more
   ?hardcore?, there are even comments that state the authors should drop such novels they can do better and what not.

3. Cliches
   Many people hate cliches, but there are times when you have to use them, especially at the start from novels. Many novels centralize about becoming the strongest and to become that you have to possess something that set you apart be it by being a genius or getting a cheat.

There are more themes to count, but i’m to lazy to write more. .
