I read other forums saying that editors usually reach out for offering authors a contract through email. I haven't read your work but when my daughter received the message, almost none of it sounded formal.

My daughter is an author on Wattpad and she received this message from an editor called Livia. The message contained webnovel's Facebook page and other pages. I really think it's a scam so my daughter refused

My daughter is an author on wattpad and a month ago, she received a message on wappad, not an email. I read some discussions and most of you got the contract offer through email. I have a bad feeling about this, but in the message, there was a link of webnovel's official Facebook page and the person sending message also mentioned their email address. I really think that this is some sort of scam, because this was the first time she received any message from an author mentioning her work. I'm just worried, so please tell me if other people received offers like this.
