MasterRabbink I think this is just the categories for now and a site wide paywall is coming ... but the cost is unreasonable and I doubt readers will stay long if they continue on the paywall path.

It seems that the advertising payment model is not making enough for webnovel to be satisfied... however, a subscription model also won’t work as the price they want seems to exceed a hardcopy professionally published novel in stores ... who would pay so much for work-in-progress novels that may stop without a satisfying conclusion? Not sure what they want readers to do but I’ll be dropping the app if this trend continues.
