Webnovel will just charge you to read it but won’t finish it. They want you to spend SS for chapters but for books that are dropped they won’t finish them or find a new translator. I personally think they should remove the books and put it up for auction for translators to finish. Maybe even giving them a bonus to finish an incomplete project. Instead they rape you by charging SS and not updating or even commenting on unfinished projects. @Webnovel_Staff is there any word on unfinished novels in your library or are you going to continually charge customers with no disclaimer that novel has been abandoned? Even a note saying novel is currently without a translator and future updates might not be available. @WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL do you guys even read comments or care even to notify your consumers about said issues? You have all these categories and or tags why can’t you put up an abandoned tag or currents no future updates tag? Even highlight it in the synopsis. Again I highly doubt they will respond to this comment or care to.

If I go to a store and buy a book it’s $20-30 and in a hardback form. I understand word count and the time it takes to do it. But again there are a lot of redundancies in a lot of the translated novels. Why can’t Webnovel just charge a flat fee for every book you want to read? If I bought the Harry Potter series right now as a set on Amazon it’s $55 dollars. And you have an actual book. @CKtalon you’re telling me that you think this is fair market value? I have no problems paying for books and or services rendered. But to tell me that this system is legit or even fair is totally a scam. If you made every 100 chapters $5 bucks even for a 2000 chapter book is $100. I understand the need to pay translators I truly believe they should be paid but how much of the money is currently going to them? The authors need to be paid too but how much is going to them? How much is webnovel taking off the bottom line. You’re not transparent in this. You are just stating prices without divulging what percentage goes to who. You want to support the authors and translators but nothing shows how much each of them are making off of a translated novel. The SS we use and the total amount of SS are not stated but you show how many power stones are used for votes? We as readers would like to see how much a novel makes is SS. Give a breakdown and show us you’re not being greedy. You can put up all this info up on the page. @WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL translators say they are not making money or less money but it doesn’t show what they make monthly? Now we all know you won’t divulge this information. I would love to see a reply to this one from webnovel. Let’s see how first class and country clubs can respond to this. Because if most of the money were truly going to authors and translators I’d be surprised.
