I can confirm that not being signed-in does indeed resolve the issue...
On that note, the OP says "trouble in chrome but not in other browsers", but I did try out Edge and Firefox... Same symptom in other browsers. I don't know if they meant to say did not try in other browsers, but regardless, this issue exists for Chrome, Edge, and Friefox.

It's about a palate (health) safety inspector who becomes a rabbit. There are 1660 others who reincarnate as humans who will have different powers and their memories of course. Most of those humans were criminals from a prison. He has a RuneScape system (i don't mention that name so directly in the story btw)
I got 6 chapters and just a few words short of 10k words (only like 10% of those words are repeated words or quest stuff i think)
