Is there any standard form, or a format that I have to use in the email? Or should I just say that I want to apply to be an editor?

Hey, fellow readers, freeloaders, translators and staff.
A little introduction about myself, to set the stage for this question.
I am an Indian engineering student, with a moderate grasp of English, but not other Asian languages, excluding two from my country.
I have been voraciously consuming books since I was 7, and in the present, I find that my commitment to webnovels is dominating my studies. (Damn it!)
I'm in need of some pocket money, and I thought, why not turn my hobby into something which can help me make money. So, here I am.
Can you guys please help me?
