You could try Doomsday Wonderland (haven't read this one yet, but based on what I've read in the review section it probably fits what you're looking for) or It's Not Easy to Be a Man After Travelling to the Future (the romance is a fairly minor part of the novel and it doesn't happen for a very long time).
