My novel talks about the story of a host-parasite that got into a human. You know the kind of parasite that usually only gets into mushrooms and whatnot in our world to dwell in them and survive. Well, mine got into a human in a parallel world ruled by magic, mostly.
As he gets into the human, our cute parasite-kun obtains the skill ‘consciousness’, 'cause yeah, short story long, he can somehow get new skills as he gets into his hosts like a normal parasite would appropriate the vital functions of its host in our world. Anyway, our parasite, he steals away skills and gets powerful that way, mostly. His 'real life' as a conscious and sentient being begins as he gets into the human.
Now since we talked about skills, yeah, all of that will be presented as a System RPG yadda yadda yadda you know the drill. It's also tagged fantasy, adventure, action; these are the bigger tags.
And thus do parasite-kun go about his freshly obtained new life. All of that as a parasite and monster of course. It's tough, but he's getting by, somehow.
