My books like 40 something at the moment I think I would only rise like 5 places if the fanfics were removed. / shrugs I guess if they had their own section it would be cool. I personally don't like them but they seem popular.

DeJeL it's not a contradiction to not like something but to accept that other people may.

FujiCigarette I wouldn't say rightfully so. I personally think what people do in their relationships and who they do it with is their business as long as it is safe and consensual for all parties involved. That being said there are jerks on all sides of the spectrum ruining good things for everyone.

I just think if people don't like my book because it is bad then they should review and say as such. If they are just low rating because it makes them uncomfortable there is a queer character in my book they should not read it/ review it or look at it.

Better yet they should read it and try and see the story for what it is a book on over coming adversity, making friends and being true to yourself.

If I keep quite then it is just as good as sitting on my hands and allowing it. I don't like knowing that people in this thread or reading my book my be queer and feel they are not welcome on webnovel. They are, everyone is and if you agree with what they do in their life or not they shouldn't feel unsafe because some random on the internet is unconformable.

No ones existence should be dictated purely by someone else's emotions, nor should anyone feel unsafe on a site that was built for escapism. We are all human trying our best to make sense of this crazy world so we shouldn't make it harder on one another.

I am not saying this to you all personally I just feel like I needed to say this.

This all being said. A few non BL readers since I posted this thread rated my book and gave their honest opinions. If it was because they saw this thread thank you. I appreciate it. Your reviews made my day! :)

Take_the_Moon Nope it is VERY clear on the front page just under the title that there is BL content and my novel has the word gay in the title. haha hard to miss :) I am glad you have found it easier!

frealzilla the Bl in the top 100 originals with a bad rating lol Posting here would be a double edge sword. I would prob get another 1 star from someone. :(

Water0202020 yeah that's really silly. I wouldn't 1 star if I hated the genre, I just wouldn't read it.

" Yes if they actually read the book it wouldn't be a problem but they haven't. I think it is worth complaining about. Since people are doing it to some of the books just to be trolls then getting them removed shouldn't be hard either.
