I am not a native english speaker, neither do I speak chinese. I respect the translators work.
But the grammar in this story is painfull.
I dropped it at 336.
From 320 to 336 the novel had at least 5 different editors and they all had basic elementary school english. There were dozens of errors every chapter and the wording of most sentences was really arkward.
I skipped to chapter 450 and the quality was still bad.
Maybe one day the whole novel will get professionally edited and I can continue. But I am certainly not willing to sit through 500 more chapters of this quality, 150 of which are paylocked.

So I am not against paying for novels in general. I spent at least a 100 dollars on amazon for ebooks every month.
But I feel like the prices here are not very fair.
If we go by 10 stones for a chapter of maybe 2000 words we get a price of 500 stones for 100.000 words.
Which is around the amount of words of 1 normal ebook.
Which you will get for around 3-5 dollars on amazon.
In general the level of writing is the same, but the grammar on most of the stories here is of a lesser level.
500 stones are around 7-8 dollars if you count the bonus ones(otherwise 10).
Which is still around twice the amount of a amazon novel of a similiar quality.
I just feel like I would buy more spirit stones if the prices were less, maybe 60-70% of the current ones.
And probably other people would buy more too.
