It depends on the type of story!

Usually for light-hearted, straight to the point kind of plot, I would prefer shorter chapters and more dialogue (600-700)?
But for worldbuilding types, I tend to build my imagination feeding off the descriptions, so although it is wordy, I prefer it slightly longer. (1k and up)

I haven't yet come across any chapters that are 2.5k and above... but I'm guessing if the plot is great I wouldn't even mind 5k words per chapter lol.

Most BLs are written by females, that's why the males are often bishonen looking/pretty etc.
There are some fudanshis but they are rare hahaha!

My story is an adventure with primary focus and romance as background - unfortunately, im female hahaha :P

Just curious, how many views should it reach before the ratio is most accurate?

Understand that new stories tend to get more attention, thus having a better ratio.

Ahh, mine is a cultivation world setting. Its kinda detailed and informative since its just the beginning.

Primary focus of the story would be cultivation and the storyline.

The romance is kind of background and definitely slow brewing lol. (its shonen ai) so nothing explicit.
