I’ve promoted there and got a few readers, but really not a lot of guys are interested in female-lead romance. So I could only count on my few girl readers, (maybe a couple guys), but they’re very biased.

Jocelyn_Fenis privilege only really benefits the author/translator/ webnovel. You’re just paying 5/10/20$ a month to read a little ahead. It’s great if you want to support that author...but really, I feel like it’s just a trap to get readers to pay a little extra in case they can’t hold themselves back. There’s a long forum post about all the complaints and benefits if you want to just scroll through that.

But if the work is already contracted here (meaning you have to use stones), then webnovel/qidian owns it. So if it’s being posted anywhere else FOR FREE then that means that they’re eating a loss, which is no way plausible. So it’s definitely a pirated site.

The only way to gift anyone stones is with a gift card code. Or gift them to authors. But if they’re just free stones, then authors don’t get any money from it. But it would still be a nice gesture I guess. And no you shouldn’t advertise other sites especially if they claim to have some of the same work as here for free, because that’s a piracy site which is breaking copyright laws.

ChocolatChan Ohhhh! I’ve never tried on my laptop so I wouldn’t know. I just use the iPhone app version and it’s really handy. Autocorrect sometimes gets the best of me though

I use ink stone within the app and it auto saves my work...? I don’t use Microsoft word or google docs. I just type on my phone when I feel like it.

Hmm. I don’t think the names matter. I’m American and been using very generic names that are nowhere near Chinese. Most genres are listed before you start your book in inkstone. I started my book with 600 words a chapter, but the readers told me they would like it longer so now I do 1k a chapter and haven’t had any complaints recently. I don’t know if this helps...

My chapters 70-170 reverted back to being locked...? What’s the point of buying the chapters if you don’t even get to keep them? And please don’t ask me to go through my consume history...not only was that forever ago, but I buy too many chapters everyday

Don’t you have to factor in chapters? Because I have 100+ chapters, almost 1k in collections, and about 510k views..
