The End of Era has a unique character than most of the book. It consists of two points of view, two perspectives to run the plot. Also, it has an alternate timeline. Meaning the first two chapters are now. And the third and fourth chapters are the backstory of how they met, the then. The then would probably be about the instances of meeting their parents. A backstory would answer the question of how did they become stepsiblings.
But the rest of the story would unfold the mystery.
