It's a little slow, and I think reading the reviews first will help you understand the story easier.
The novel's fantasy, and the beginning chapters are around 700. But later increase to around 2000 around chapter 10. I'm still uploading the rest from my primary source (up to 9 more chapters).

"I-I... I..." Su Long's normally prideful, loud voice eventually degraded to a bundle of choked whimpers

He looked away, and stared onto something in the background; maybe a bystander, or maybe the old drunkard in the back eating some lotus seeds.

Either way, he avoided my eyes.

It lasted for a while, until little silky-boy right here, called for his knight in shining armour again.

"G-GUARDS S-save me R-RIght now!" Su Long frantically yelled, crawling on the ground (which I kicked him to), with blood covering his face like a shy bride; the blood being the tight red veil, one wears on their wedding day..

However, perhaps his spouse didn't find his "shyness" pleasant, and thus; the veil remained until the end, even growing.

I looked at him with a little remorse, but watched the guys below me; none of them walked to protect their master, and this, Su Long realized a little later.

"Q-Quickl-ly!... You... Y-You, are you betraying the S-Su FamILY? Quickly g-get me away frOm here." Su Long said, looking back with desperate eyes, staring at each and every one of his supposed guards, hoping that one would stand up, and do the job they were paid for.

Finally, one did; a female, approximately in her 40's, with blood streaming down from her face to her jade-green robes; she had soft brown eyes. Staggering to her feet, barely 5 metres away from me, she pointed the worned tip of her trembling sword towards my neck.

The lady seemed to have trouble talking, and struggled for a while, until her voice finally came out; coarsened, and rusted from supposed battles.

"I... Love your passion...But, I have children waiting for me at home." The lady difficultly admitted, gasping for breath behind each and every syllable.

"I need to go home. Or else... The Su family will murder us all." She said, in a tone that didn't even try to conceal this little secret of hers, and obviously, Su Long dismally looked at her with invisible daggers.

… So... The Su family huh?...

"... What a coincidence..."
